Gus finished his racing career earlier this year and has since been broken to saddle and schooled through the HERO initiative.
Gus has been a very teachable and willing horse to bring on and would excel in a range of disciplines with continued education or alternatively a brilliant happy hacker.

- Gus has an established walk, trot and canter and is beginning to work softly in a frame.
- Although still green Gus has excelled in the HERO programme since arriving. Gus has been introduced to a variety of small jumps, drop downs and banks which he took in his stride and never hesitated.
- Gus has been safely hacked out away from his home on his own and does not get herd bound when leaving the property. Gus will walk out confidently on a loose rein or with contact.
- Gus is easy to handle on the ground, grooming, catching, floating, farrier and dental.
- Gus would make a lovely show hack with continued work or a safe all round/pleasure riding mount.
