Lucas is offered for sale through the HRNZ HERO programme. Lucas has been professionally schooled and has been a dream to break in and start. Lucas would make a fantastic pony club mount, trekking hack or low level all rounder. He is such a cruisey lad.
Lucas will only go to the best of homes. He shows huge potential and we would love him to go to someone who will get this out of him. Although Lucas is a lovely horse, he is still green, so a kind experienced home is essential.
Additional Information
- Lucas is learning to carry himself in a frame and is improving everyday. He canters on both leads under saddle and has never paced either on the lunge or under saddle.
- Lucas has been introduced to poles and crossbars and is very willing.
- Lucas absolutely loves hacking out alone or in company and is happy at the front or back. Lucas is sensible, sane and a pleasure to have around.
- Lucas is great natured and fantastic to handle in all aspects. He is great for the farrier, floats or trucks and has no stable vices. Lucas is well socialised with other horses and is easily a stable favourite. He is always the first to greet you in the paddock. Lucas would happily be tied and stand to be groomed all day long. He just loves attention!
- Lucas is currently ridden regularly by working students aged 13-17. He has been exposed to a range of different situations and is a very laid back and straightforward horse for a confident rider to progress.
