Kowhai Monarch (Zippy)

Zippy is offered for sale through through the HRNZ HERO programme. Zippy was a very successful racehorse, he is a gentle kind soul and was an absolute stable favourite of all who worked with him.

• Basic flat work established. Zippy can produce some beautiful work on the flat, he has a lovely soft mouth! We could see Zippy doing dressage or turning his hoof to some showing.
• Zippy has an awesome jump on him, very sharp wee knees! Has popped over logs in the forrest no issues.
• Zippy loves hacking! He has a great walk and has been past pigs, tractors, alpacas and numerous other odd things without batting an eyelid! He has been used as a lead horse around the roads and has been hacked out alone.
• Groundwork established and he is great to handle in all aspects. Zippy is well socialised with other horses and dogs. He has been exposed to a busy yard environment.
• Bodywork, teeth, worming and trimming up to date- full warrant of fitness!
• We can see Zippy excelling in any discipline, he would also make a perfect happy hacker/trekking horse.
• Although Zippy is kind and willing he is still green so an experienced rider is essential.
