Extreme Robyn (Lyra)

Lyra finished her racing career in December last year and has since been broken to saddle and schooled through the HRNZ HERO initiative. Although Lyra is a level headed ride she would require a confident rider to allow her to reach her full potential. Lyra will only go to the best of homes.

She shows huge potential and we would love her to go to someone who will get this out of her. She would make a beautiful show hack, fun all rounder or happy hacker

Additional Information

• Lyra is easy to have around, grazing with multiple geldings on the property without issues. She is easy to shoe, catch, drench and travels well on both float or truck. Lyra is a real character and loves to be with you.
• Lyra has an established walk, trot, canter under saddle with a soft snaffle mouth.
• Lyra has been introduced to small jumps, including oxers and fills and seems to thoroughly enjoy it. She has attended a small jumping day where she completed her first 50cm course without hesitation.
• Lyra has been hacked at the beach, forest and some road riding and is fuss free to take out, she is happy to lead the way or stay in behind another horse.
• She attended the local NZ standardbred riding association show recently where she placed in 10 of of 11 large classes and qualified for the inhand championships class. She behaved impeccably all day, waiting patiently during classes and tied happily to the float alone for the remainder of the day.
